Clean and cut fresh ginger into 1-2 parts. I use organic ginger, so you don’t have to peel the ginger skin, just rub it. If you use non-organic ginger, remove the skin.

– I use about 1-2 slices of ginger per cup of tea. Once clean, chop the ginger or it can be ground using a blender. If you want to add a little lemon, remove the skin first because this will make the tea bitter.

Put water in a small saucepan and add ginger and lemon to the pan.

Lower the heat and cook for five minutes. If you want a stronger tea, you can set it aside for a while.

– Strain the tea into cups and then add a thin slice (or two) of fresh lemon to each cup. Add honey to taste and tea is ready to be enjoyed.
